My Story

My Journey to Veterinary Nursing

I have worked in the veterinary industry for the last 9 years, after initially pursuing a career in Law. After very quickly realizing this wasn’t for me, my Spaniel, Millie, became unwell with Thrombocytopenia. Seeing the exemplary care that she received, but also feeling completely helpless due to my lack of knowledge, I wanted to be able to do more, and therefore I was inspired to become a Veterinary Nurse. I completed my Foundation Degree at my local college, gravitating towards medical nursing and rehabilitation, with a love for post-operative spinal rehabilitation.

Teaching and Sharing Knowledge

In 2020, during an extremely strange time, I found my passion for teaching and sharing knowledge and created my Instagram account. From here, I began to create revision materials for students, initially to ensure that all students had access to quality resources during lockdown and online teaching. This blossomed into creating many more resources and webinars for students and Registered Veterinary Nurses alike, growing my online platform and lecturing for the College of Animal Welfare and Central CPD.

I am committed to providing affordable and quality CPD and revision materials for all and look forward to creating more in the years to come and hopefully hosting some CPD events too.
